Select One Spiritual Nugget to Inspire Your Day
There is something both startling and gentle in the truth that our emotions, even when hidden, remain alive within us. Many of us were taught to mistrust our feelings, to tuck them away like fragile objects too dangerous to be handled. Yet, what was pushed down does not vanish; it lingers, shaping our bodies, our minds, our relationships. But our unfelt feelings, like any other essential bodily processes, do not go away even if we try to repress them. When we pause and listen, our feelings reveal themselves as guides, showing us the path back to wholeness. To honor them is not weakness but deep courage. It is in the meeting of our emotions—whether fear, grief, or joy—that we remember our own rootedness, our steady, compassionate self, waiting to embrace us with honesty and grace.
May you trust your feelings as teachers of truth and companions toward freedom.
