Select One Spiritual Nugget to Inspire Your Day
Spiritual understanding grows in the spaces that logic alone cannot enter. Wisdom does not rely on intellect or academic training. It emerges when we are undone, uncertain, or brought low by life’s raw realities. There are certain truths that can be known only if we are sufficiently emptied, sufficiently ready, sufficiently confused, or sufficiently destabilized. In these moments, transformation becomes possible. When approaching Scripture, the need arises to release expectations and allow something deeper to surface. It is not about collecting answers but becoming more spacious in the presence of mystery. Jesus did not offer theology lectures—he noticed daily life and used it to reveal what is lasting. His wisdom invited honesty over certainty. The Spirit teaches in ways that disrupt comfort and strip away illusion. Staying grounded in humility allows that teaching to reach us, to form us, to move us beyond information.
May we be emptied enough to receive the truths that only surrender can reveal.
