Select One Spiritual Nugget to Inspire Your Day
Perfection is no longer the goal. It misleads and distorts, offering illusions that don’t hold up in real life. The desire for flawlessness has harmed more than helped. What matters now is presence—staying with the whole of experience, not just the polished parts. Learning to see imperfection as part of the pattern shifts everything. Recognizing that the Spirit moves through the gap, not around it, changes how we relate to failure, grief, uncertainty, and contradiction. Dualistic thinking serves a purpose, but stopping there cuts off growth. Divine perfection is, in fact, the ability to recognize, forgive, and include imperfection!—just as God does with all of us. There’s value in holding opposites without demanding resolution. Wholeness includes shadow and light. Love, patience, and mercy emerge only when nothing is excluded. Nonduality doesn't simplify life; it deepens it. That is enough.
May we live with the courage to recognize, forgive, and include imperfection, just as God does with all of us.
