In a time of destruction, create something. A poem. A parade. A community. A school. A vow. A moral principle. One peaceful moment.

Select One Spiritual Nugget to Inspire Your Day

Our culture trains us to avoid failure at all costs, to hide weakness, and to reject vulnerability. This conditioning runs deep, shaping not only our personal identities but also our institutions. We have mistaken external success for spiritual maturity and ignored the deeper teachings of Jesus. He points toward a radically different path—one that honors the poor in spirit, the powerless, and the overlooked. Facing the shadow means letting go of the false image we try so hard to maintain. It means acknowledging our fear of failure and our addiction to control. This work is uncomfortable. Just know that it is the false self that is sad and humbled by shadow work, because its game is over. But we cannot grow without it. Spiritual maturity demands that we move toward what we’ve rejected. Only then do we begin to wake up.

May we have the courage to release the false self and grow through the truth our shadow reveals.
